Who is responsible for your data
Qovira FZE, trading as Évorèle, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, is the data controller. Privacy questions and requests go to hello@evorele.com.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, delivery address, email address, phone number if you give one, what you bought and when.
- Payment: handled by Stripe or PayPal. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, Instagram or TikTok, so we can answer.
- Website use: device and browsing data collected by cookies and by Shopify, the platform this store runs on, such as pages viewed and items added to the cart.
- Marketing: your email address if you join the newsletter, and whether you open what we send.
Why we use it and the legal basis
- To take payment, deliver your order and handle returns: performance of our contract with you.
- To keep tax and accounting records: our legal obligations, for six years.
- To prevent fraud, keep the site working and understand how it is used: our legitimate interests, balanced against yours.
- To send you marketing emails and to show you advertising cookies: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
- Shopify, which hosts the store and checkout.
- Stripe and PayPal, which process payments.
- Our fulfilment partner Zendrop and its carriers, who receive your name, address, email and phone number to pack, ship and deliver your order. Parcels are dispatched from China and delivered by carriers in the United Kingdom.
- Meta and Google, only through cookies you have consented to, for measuring and showing advertising.
- Our email provider, to send order emails and, with your consent, the newsletter.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data.
Where your data goes
We are based in the United Arab Emirates, and our fulfilment partner operates from China, so your order data leaves the United Kingdom. Where a country is not covered by a UK adequacy decision, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the standard contractual clauses recognised in the UK, and on the safeguards of the platforms named above. You can ask us for details of these safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Order and payment records: six years after the order, for tax law.
- Messages: as long as needed to deal with your question, then up to two years.
- Newsletter address: until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email.
- Website analytics: according to the lifetime of each cookie.
Cookies
Essential cookies run the cart and checkout and cannot be switched off. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time from the footer link "Your privacy choices".
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent. Email hello@evorele.com; we answer within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
This store is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you by email or on the site.
